Meet Katya
I am a writer, podcaster, Dog Coach (for rescue dogs and their people), and an overall animal lover. Volunteering at animal shelters, fostering dogs, writing and exploring spirituality - these are the things that light me up. I’ve written for TV, I write screenplays and books, and I’ve had the pleasure of writing for The New York Times, Parents.com, Texas Monthly, Animal Wellness, VegNews, and more publications. My one-woman show, I’m Sorry, which I wrote and performed, was part of the New York Fringe Festival and enjoyed two years of sold-out audiences in LA and NYC. I love to support other writers.
An undergraduate degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a Masters from Harvard University Graduate School of Education led me on a windy career path that has not always been easy, but has always been meaningful. I am a recovering actress. I hope whoever you are and wherever you are and whatever you need, that you’re writing about it. I look forward to discovering your words and to petting your dog.
