I’m Katya
breathwork Facilitator AND grief guide FOR devoted DOG PARENTS AND tender-hearted SHELTER VOLUNTEERS.
I serve those who serve others: the protectors, the rescuers, the feelers and the healers, the dog moms and dog dads, the foster parents, the animal people. Here, you’re not asked to be “stronger” or “better” or "more normal”—only to be more yourself.
Whether you're navigating dog parent struggles in your home, compassion fatigue at the shelter, suffering from pet loss, or simply longing to breathe deeper into your life, you deserve a relationship with animals that feels sustainable, soulful, aligned and real.

Dear animal lovers, I see you.
You are driven by something inside, crave purpose, seek to make a difference, take relationships meaningfully, and often don’t pause to take a break or rest even when you need to. In the quiet moments between words that won't come, in the tender exhaustion that rises up every time you give your heart to a creature who depends on you—there lives a simple, profound feeling of who you are. And it’s beautiful. We need you to keep doing it because it is not just your work…this work is who you are.
But HOW we do what we do matters. How we feel doing it, what we get from it, how much joy we’re experiencing, our sense of self and our ability to be aware counts. Breathwork can help us hear our deep calling, trust ourselves, and heal ourselves. It isn't just another practice; it is a significantly effective self-care tool that can also be fun and full and freeing, and it can go with us anywhere. Being with the breath is a gentle being with yourself, however you are now, showing up for every version of you, welcoming your emotions into the soft landing place of listening because the compassion that might be missing most is the one that turns inwards.
We can give ourselves what we most want.
Then there is grief support and also there is writing, both transformation tools which can help us discover how possible it is to move stuck energy so we avoid burnout and instead find sustainable caring and authentic presence we share bravely with others. For the animal guardian whose heart needs to be held for a moment — your breath, your mourning, your exploring, your creativity, your curiosity, and your story waits patiently for you to notice it and meet it.
